One of my ‘ALL-TIME’ favorite artists whose time did ot last. Many would call him a druggy or otherwise. I call him a prodigy and a man whose music will live on!

There are some strange circumstances and unanswered questions surrounding the death of Kurt Cobain. This information has been the subject of bookstelevision showsradio shows, quite a few magazine and newspaper stories, even a film. Was Cobain murdered?

  1. Cobain was simply a drug addict. There’s no mystery there. He was a mediocre musical talent and an even lesser artistic talent (if you look at his early water colors, there’s not much there to commend him to the artistic community). He burned out early for the simple reason that he had no self-control. The loss of any life so early is sad, but it’s certainly not a mystery. Now… Paul Anka was (and is) a truly talented individual. He was not only a much better performer during his early days but he continues on now into his 70’s. Furthermore, the man was a prolific writer and many if not most of his songs were made popular by other artists (i.e. Frank Sinatra). Anka did not need a crutch to get him through the day. And rather than appeal to an exceedingly small and disenfranchised group of fans, Anka’s popularity crossed many lines.
