Great song but Jimmy was only a great guitarist not much else. He was a doper trying to find a bigger better buzz than the last one and he overdid it. Jimmy’s boss would have made more money from a live Jimmy over a dead one. No black helicopters [ conspiracy ] here!
Yeah…I guess you guys got a point or two, or three…but Jimi was not obeying his Manager (master – small ‘m’), so profits were on the decline. And with the possibility of Hendrix’s connection to the Black Panthers and other Activist groups of the time his days were already numbered like Martin, Malcolm and dare I say…Kennedy.
